I have been wanting to add some Dalmatian print to my wardrobe for some time now but I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to get. I was contemplating getting the Topshop loafers for a while but I just thought they would dirty easily, especially in the winter weather, so decided against them, for now ;)

But look what I got instead! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it! After umming & aahing for a little while, I finally caved & bought it. I am so glad I did, it’s such a great little winter update for summer t'-shirts & it looks so lovely worn over a good old chunky knit! I actually think it gives my old Lyle & Scott a refreshing new wintery look.

OK so a bunch of random pictures for you there & you can’t really see the turban(d) that well but if you want to see how I made it then go & check out my DIY video! :) I’m still kind of obsessed with making videos at the moment ahaha, I have another DIY one ready for next week & I’m planning on doing a few more nail tutorials soon too. So I have been lusting over velvet loads recently & I have wanted a pair of velvet shorts for so long but I am just not willing tot part with my money at Topshop, so instead, I bought some velvet leggings/pants from ebay for £1 & made my own! Snazzy, eigh? ;) I love them!

I FINALLY OWN THE SKIRT, YAYS!!! :) & it looks even better in real life, I love it so much! I can’t wait to get layering it up with some knitwear!

I bought the gorilla dress back in August from ROMWE. Obvs I bought it because it is similar to the Christopher Kane designs, unfortunately I missed out on his Topshop range & the prices those pieces go for on ebay now is pretty ridiculous so I’m pretty glad I came across this version. You can see a full length pic of the dress in its full gorilla form here.

I actually only realised after I had worn these beauts together that it looks similar to yet another Christopher Kane beauty so that’s pretty damn cool too! :)

Also, if you haven’t already seen, I have been uploading more & more videos to my YouTube channel :) I am becoming a little obsessed haha, so it would be great if you could check them out & let me know what you think :)

HD BROWS PALETTE…

Back at the beginning of September, the lovely girls from Glossybox got in touch with me & were kind enough to send me their September Glossybox free of charge so that I could share it with ‘effiesmakeupbox’ readers. However, with everything that has been going on I just didn’t get chance to sort out doing a proper Glossybox post which I feel quite bad about. Anyway, it’s obviously way too late for me to blog about the September Glossybox now so, I thought it would be best if I reviewed Septembers ‘star product’ which is, quite obviously, the HD Brows palette.

I have seen quite a few HD Brow palette reviews on other blogs but I thought I’d throw in my two cents anyway as I have been using it every day since I got it & I feel I have trailed it long enough to be able to show you guys how I have been using it & tell you quickly & clearly, exactly what you need to know about the HD brows palette!

 HOW I FILL IN MY EYEBROWS WITH HD BROWS:1. ‘BEFORE’. As you can see, I have nothing on my eyebrows & they are a horrible, straggly mess.
2. I start by shaping my eyebrows with ‘ASH BROWN’. As it’s the lightest, it’s the best shade to create a decent guideline without being to bold.
3. I then fill in my eyebrows with ‘WARM BROWN’ as it is the closest match my hair colour & best suits my skin tone.
4. I fill in any areas that need ‘extra shadow’ eg, the gap right under my eyebrows, with ‘CARBON’. Using a slightly darker colour makes the gap look less obvious & more natural than if I were only to use ‘ASH BROWN’ & ‘WARM BROWN’.

& wal ah! Perfectly shaped eyebrowz ;)

SHORT & SWEET, ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HD BROWS PALETTE:As you can see from the pictures, the formula is pretty good! It’s buildable, insanely pigmented, it blends easily, the palette doubles up as an eye shadow quad (which is fab if you’re like me & only like wearing minimal neutral eye shadow), it doesn’t look cakey (which is more than can be said for most eyebrow pencils.) & it LASTS.SO.LONG!!!

Anyway, I have always liked the design & thought it would be fun to try them out myself I didn’t want to copy them exactly so I thought It would be cool to give the bunnies different glasses instead of all heart shaped ones. ^_^ What do you think? :)
