I know, I know, yet another shorts DIY ;) I have been wanting to do this for AGES!!! Ever since I saw that Eliza Doolittle video where she’s wearing ones that are very similar.

Again, it was HELLA EASY to do! I basically cut off the fringed bits from an old River Island top that I bought in the sale a few years ago and sewed them onto the inside of my Topshop high waist shorts! Easy peasy! :) And they are pretty ‘on trend’ at the moment too as I have seen loads and loads of ‘mullet dresses’ as I lake to call them ;) I’m not sure if that’s what they are actually called but hey, long at the back, short at the front, that’s a mullet in my books! They are much more attractive than the ones people wear on their heads anyway! ;) I can’t wait to wear these babies properly!

I wanted to point you guys in the direction of Katie, she writes of my fave blogs and I have followed her for quite a while now! She also has another little DIY blog called ‘guilt free fashion’ and I am quite frankly OBSESSED with it! I literally check it every day to see if she has made anything new! She has actually done a little post featuring a few of my recent DIY’s too! I am so proud to be featured on one of my absolute fave blogs! :’) Seriously go and check it out! She is amazingly talented at what she does! And if you are into fashion DIY’s, ‘guilt free fashion’ is deffo worth a follow! ;)

Sorry for the crappyish pictures today folks, my mind was elsewhere (hence the strange poses.) As you can see my dog, Jack, wanted some camera time lol!

It was so hot here today! I spent most of the day outside in the garden with my Mum, little sis and Jack. Had a lovely girly day really, painting nails, listening to music and sunning ourselves. :) I’m missing the Boy an unbelievable amount though :’(

This outfit reminds me of the funfair, big colourful shapes, glitter, candyfloss hair, it reminds me of Summer :)

Don’t worry guyz it’s not permanent dye! ;) It’s from a can :) I just thought it would be fun to do ya’know, with all this dip dying & ombreing going around ;) I am always amazed by Bleach London’s work! :) Now I know mine is no where near as good as theirs but I like how it turned out, like I said, I thought it would be fun and after being persuaded on Twitter, mainly by Ella (who’s hair is a lovely blonde ombre) and Simone (who also has pink ombre at the mo too), I thought it’s about high time I gave it a go! :) I got the spray from Boots, I was 3 for two so I bought 2 pink and 1 blue, but I’m sure you could pick up the same/similar stuff from the likes of Superdrug and other drugstores too! :)

I also just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has read/commented on my latest DIY post! I never expected such a huge response from you guys, seriously! And I have just checked my tumblr again and it has reached nearly 300 notes! :O I’m usually lucky if I get 1! :O So thankyou thankyou thankyou!!! I have another DIY photographed and ready to go so I will post that either tomorrow or Monday. :)

DIY studded bra…

I’m not trying to shove me A cups in your face or anything as it is a rarity that I ever wear a low top or even show my non existent cleavage but I’ve been wanting to do this DIY for a little while now and I finally got round to doing it last night.

I basically just took the studs off an old belt and re homed them on a bra. Job done. I am really pleased with how it’s turned out and I think it will look really nice under a sheer blouse or layered with oversized vest tops etc. I just think it will add a nice touch to plainer outfits, it’s more of an accessory than anything else really.

DIY green candy stripe shirt…

I actually quite like how my bun is blonde and the rest of my hair is brown :)

This is actually one of the easiest DIY’s that I have done to date. All you need is a pair of scissors, an iron, ironing board & some wonder web! Basically all you need to do is chop off the arms and shorten the bottom of the shirt and hem the seams with the wonder web and an iron and hey presto you have yourself a new summer shirt.

You could do this with any old shirt but I chose to do it with this one because I really liked the Topshop striped green & blue jersey ones but I can never find them in my size in the shop :O So I thought I’d make my own version obvs! ;)

‘The Mark, Tom and Travis show’…

So as you can see, I’ve been taking full advantage of the sun again this weekend and I wore a boob tube for the first time this year! :O #hurryupsummer I fell in love with the print on this top as soon as I saw it, I just love the little triangle aztec pattern! :)

Also as you can tell, I got a little over excited by the fact that I actually found a wall in my house that is plain and has nothing in front of it, well for the time being anyway, so whilst it’s there, I took full advantage of the space and did a little hair flippin’ ;)

Oh and I know I haven’t posted any new nail designs in a few weeks, I just haven’t been very inspired, but don’t worry, I have an idea for a design that I want to try out soon so keep tuned for that! I have so many new and easy DIY posts lined up to show you guys too which I am excited about. Please please please let me know what you think of me doing all of these DIY posts too, it’s just something I am enjoying doing at the moment and thought it would be a good idea to share what I make with you guys, but obvs if you don’t like them I will stop doing so many. Just let me know :)

OOTD DIY FRINGED VEST TOPS…

So I’ve been trying to start up doing as many DIY conquests as I can recently. If you follow me on twitter you will probs already know that the boy is going to Spain on Monday for 6 weeks for Uni :’( I haven’t mentioned it on here before because I didn’t want to be a bore to you guys but it is actually something that affects me quite emotionally, he’s my best friend  and I know I’m going to find it really hard to be so far away from him for that long :’( so I thought I’d better give you guys a heads up that the next few weeks/months are either going to be me overloading you with blog posts or the complete opposite, I’m not sure, I just don’t know at the moment, I love blogging but I never feel like doing it when I’m in a bad/sad/mehh mood. I just don’t want to pass on my bad moods to everyone else. lol

So I thought DIYing and working on the next project for my shop would help to keep me busy. I have a lot of ideas lined up so hopefully they will go well enough for me to show you guys. :)

Anyways, this is what I was working on last night. I have seen loads of YT videos and blog posts of fringing recently so I thought I would give it a go. It really is so easy, anyone could do it! I wanted the fringing on my tops to be quite long so I decided to make them into more of a crop top rather than just a vest top with a little fringing on the bottom. I had so many compliments from people at work today which was nice. :O My next fringing project is going to be a maxi dress I think, that’s if i can find the one I am planning on cutting up in the bottom of my wardrobe, lolz, if it goes well I will post about it asap. :)

Holy shizzle, she’s wearing a dress again! :O If you follow me on twitter you will probs know that I bought this yesterday from work. It’s from the teen section but it’s so much nicer than any of the adult maxi dresses that we have in at the moment and I love the butterfly print! The length is great too, not too short and not so long that it drags on the floor. I don’t know if it’s the angle of the camera or the dress itself but I am looking rather short in these photos :O but hey, I love the dress and will deffo be wearing it throughout the Summer! :) Also, I have only just realised that it is ‘ladies day’ at the horses today too so I’m dressed quite appropriately for the occasion. ;)

Teen Wolf…

I first heard about Wonderland vintage boutique from my Mum and sister, they had been to a vintage fair at a local pub and Hannah was so excited to tell me all about it! She bought some amazing things and I was ecstatic when she told me that there was a new vintage shop opening up in Preston! YAY! Since Oxfam vintage closed down, there hasn’t really been anything like that here anymore, so it was great news to hear that there was a new shop opening!

They sell allsorts of stuff including women's and men's wear, accessories, jewellery, candles, fur coats… the staff are lovely and everything is really reasonably priced! :) I couldn’t find a website for them but you can check their FB out here. ;)

Oh and also If you haven’t already noticed the new little EMUB SHOP picture in the side bar, I have finally set up a shop! :) I currently have several nail sets up for grabs so check them out and make me a very happy lady! :)
