Right, I have decided to post ‘what’s on my nails’ today purely because my internet has been buggered for the past few days so I have been unable to blog. #sadtimes

Again, I couldn’t help but be inspired by WAH nails again this week. I wanted to do a design that was kind of like ‘on trend’ 70’s vibe that is going on at the moment. I ended up basing my nails on this lovely pattern. The design is slightly different (a little messy :S) and I changed the colours a little but I love how they turned out.

I have decided that I am deffo going to purchase the nail art pens from eBay on payday. I think they are really good value for what I will be using them for. They will enable me to do more detailed designs with colours other than black.  I can’t wait to get them and show you! :) OH OH and I now finally own GOSH holographic! SQUEE! I can’t wait to show you in next weeks post! #crazynaillady

I had a pretty successful shopping trip this weekend. I finally bought the Topshop high wasted shorts I have been lusting after for weeks now, leopard print grandad shoes which you may have seen me post on twitter earlier today and yet another hair product that I am excited to try out, I promise to review it if I love it!

OK so I took these outfit pictures this morning and I wasn’t happy at all, they made me feel frumpy, even my hair looks a strange colour so, all in all pretty blah really. :( It was really hard to photograph these shorts. I bought them last week and this is the second time I have worn them. I really really like them but they look better IRL than on camera :/ These photos make them look really creased and well, I think they look crap. I also bronzed my face WAAAY too much, but I couldn’t be bothered to do my make-up again so I stuck with it. I haven’t been wearing any falsies this week either and I have toned down my eyeliner purely because I can’t be bothered scrubbing it off at night. #lazy

I had fun on Monday night filling up my new draws :) (you can see them in the corner :)) I have been trying to organise my room since Sunday and it’s beginning to look a little tidier. I have been asked a million times on YT to do a room tour but I just don’t know, I’d feel a bit weird filming my room and rambling about it. Maybe now it’s looking reasonable I might take a few snaps though. :S

I know I have been lazy on the ‘hair/reviews’ posts, don’t worry, they are still in the pipelines. I just want to try the products fully before I say anything about them. I might review one of the Lee Stafford products tomorrow or even Saturday? I just want to give a ‘true’ review, and in my world, that takes time just because I don’t want to miss anything out, I like to be quite thorough when I am reviewing a product. #OCD

So like I said on twitter before, I found these outfit pictures hanging around and I thought I would post them. I can’t remember exactly when I took these, I just know I never posted the pictures. :O

I wasn’t sure on this jumper at first. It came in the concessions department at work a while ago now, but it was a dress. I really wasn’t a big fan but, when I saw it in jumper form for £7 (down from £23) in the sale, I couldn’t say no. It is so fluffy and warm. I would actually prefer it if it wasn’t so cropped but I thought hey, I wear high wasted shorts all the time so my belly won’t always be on show. even though it is on these pictures, I am not really a big fan of showing the mid drift tbh BLAAAAH… I am going to stop rambling now.

After sitting down and organizing some up coming posts I thought of maybe doing a ‘wardrobe’ post. I really like the idea of maybe showing you my current favourite/most worn at the moment items. I dunno, I may make it a monthly post. Let me know your thoughts. It’s just a work in progress at the minute but I am actually pretty excited to do a regular post like this. :)

Anyways, I am off to organise the new draws my mum bought me to, and I quote: ‘put all the shit that’s on your bedroom floor in’ Just can’t beat Mums can you?  :’)

What’s on my nails #1…

So not the most interesting nails I have ever painted but I kind of went for a ‘mixed theme’ this week. I didn’t really know what I wanted to paint on  my nails so I ended up just doing random shapes. Anyway, I was happy with the result in the end, I think the heart, anchor and lightning bolt go pretty sweet together. :) My favourite is the lightning bolt. I love how the gold stands out on the purple!

These nails didn’t take me that long to do really. maybe about 30-45mins? Well anyway, It usually takes me longer if I am doing more intricate designs like the ‘POW’ ones the other week. It just depends on how many different colours I use and how long it takes for them to dry.

I have been using liquid eyeliner to do outlines on my nails for quite a while now. I have been meaning to pop into River Island and pick myself a WHA NAILS pen, but I just haven’t got round to doing it. I have been having a little nosey around eBay though, and I have found some good little nail art pen sets that I think I might treat myself to on payday! :)

I am tempted to do lightning bolts again this week but I don’t know. I will just see what I feel like doing when I  sit down and do them lol.

Anyone else worn any arty farty nails recently? I would love to see them!

OKOK so like I said on twitter before, I went a little OTT on photo editing today :S I just thought it would be a fun change. As you can see I was in a bit of a pink mood today. I don’t normally wear much pink, especially not bright pink. I don’t know what came over me really, I just had the urge to wear my pink cut offs. They are actually a pair of ‘Jamie jeans’ from Topshop that I got in the sale for a tenner! I bought them purely to cut them up as I don’t think I could pull off wearing bright pink skinny jeans without looking a little emo :S

I searched eBay for some dark blue(ish) cut offs last night but I found none that I really liked. I dunno, I will probably scour the net again tonight. I actually bought a new pair of shorts from work today. They aren’t denim, but I fell in love with the colour! Even though I have literally no money to spend on clothes until 31st January, I couldn’t resist! They were only £8 with my discount so I thought what the hell. I was going to photograph them but I didn’t bother in the end as it is really dark now and I will be showing you them in an outfit post soon anyway. :)

I am sorry for totally bombarding you with outfit posts recently. I have just been taking advantage of the slightly better light at the moment and the fact that I have been doing slightly later starts at work, so I have time to get ready, Take some pictures and even edit them before work, ready for me to post when I get home.

Thank you all for your feedback on doing a hair post/posts. I will try and put something together over the weekend, I just need to figure out how I want to do it. I just have so much to say about so many things that I think it’s going to take quite a bit of planning.

So today was just a normal day really. Not much to say other than I wish it was Friday as I actually have a proper weekend this week! :O I normally work the delivery shift on Saturday mornings which is a killer! :S But hey ho.

I had a bit of an ‘IHAVENOTHINGIWANTTOWEAR’ kind of morning really, which resulted in half of my wardrobe being thrown on my bedroom floor until I could throw something together. I was SO happy when I found my heart belt, I bought it years ago and I haven’t worn it for ages.

I really love denim shorts, as you know, I wear all the time, but I really NEED a pair of vintage/vintage looking dark(ish) denim ones! Out of all the shorts I own, my three denim ones are either light/acid wash or not high waisted. I will be scouring eBay tonight I think as I am desperate for a pair and there are no vintage/charity shops near me :(

I’m actually THE MOST EXCITED I have been over TV for a long time tonight! My big fat Gypsy wedding, Snog, marry, avoid are on later! Two of THE greatest programmes on this earth, I think you will agree?! I can’t wait! Oh also, earlier on I mentioned on twitter that I was maybe going to start planning to do a hair care/how I do my hair post. Let me know what you think.

So these are the pictures that made me so mad yesterday. They are the best of a bad bunch really. I’m sorry they are so grainy looking, but the light in my house was awful yesterday due to the weather and the flash setting on my camera was making me look like a freaking ghost! This is actually outfit number one of two from yesterday, I changed just because I got so annoyed when I took these pictures, sad, I know but what the hell. I’m posting them anyway because I wanted to show you my shorts! I won them on eBay last week and I love them. I nearly bought them from Motel when they were released but I refrained as I couldn’t justify paying £35 for a pair of ‘Summer’ shorts. When I found them on eBay I was over the moon! I ended up paying about £15 including postage for these babies so that makes me a very happy girl. :)

My denim shirt is becoming a bit of a regular feature on here at the moment. I’m sorry if you think its samey but I have just been wearing it loads recently. Its just so comfy and looks smart but casual at the same time, and I like that. It’s just a really easy item to wear, I would deffo say that it is one of my wardrobe ‘staples’.

I mentioned that I bought something from Vivienne Westwood in December. So… here it is. I received VW vouchers from the boy last Xmas and my sister bought me some to go with his for my 21st and I have been pondering what to spend them on ever since. I could just never decide what I wanted as all of her designs are SO beautiful. Anyways, I decided to spend them on this beauty in the end. I love it SO much! The picture I have taken here doesn’t really show it in detail so I will probably do a proper little post on it sometime soon.

She’s as cold as ice cream but still as sweet…

So I ended up with quite a 70’s kind of look today. Don’t know how I feel about that really, I’m not entirely sure about the whole Spring/Summer 70’s trend just yet. It’s not entirely my taste but I’m sure by the end of the Summer I will be walking round, donning a massive floppy hat and High wasted flared pants! lolz can you imagine! I’d maybe consider the hat but flared trousers?! Well maybe if I grow a few inches!? NO, they are just not for me.

Anyways, this shirt came in to work mid December but in a cream sort of colour. Almost everyone bought it but I wasn’t sold on the idea of wearing a white sheer shirt, being pale and all, I fear I may look a little ghostly. But I can never resist a bit of peach! So when this one came in I was over the moon and bought it straight away. I initially bought a size 8 as per usual from work but when I tried it on at home the arms were SO tight! It made me feel like Popeye. Not cool! So I exchanged if for a  size 10 and the arms fit perfect now :) the body is a little on the baggy side, but I can live with this. So just a heads up, if your going to get one, I would probably say get a size bigger than usual, or just try it on in the shop. ;)

I’m kind of liking the lace popping out of the bottom of my shots tbh. I think if kind of gives the look a bit of, dare I say this, a twist? I got some lovely feedback when I wore this yesterday so I thought I would try a similar look again today. I normally get funny looks of people when I wear my shirt popping out of my shorts but I really like it! As long as it’s not too much it can look really nice and not trashy like some people think :S I dunno, you will have to let me know your thoughts on the whole shirt/scarf popping out of shorts look. I think I quite like it tbh.

Right, I’m off to wash my hair just so I can try out those Lee Stafford products I bought yesterday. Eeek! Fingers crossed they are as good as I want them to be! :)

OKOK so I dyed my hair, again lolz. Back to the dark side, well kind of! I liked the brown but I just didn’t feel like me without a little blonde in my hair. So sad, I know. If you follow me on twitter you will know that I took a trip to Boots this morning to pick up some bleach so I could pop a few highlights back in just to ‘warm up’ my do! I feel like me again now!  As you can see I ended up dip dying my hair again too, I prefer it now, it doesn’t look too Summery anymore. It was just ‘too blonde’ last time if you know what I mean.

I picked up a couple of exciting hair products from Boots whilst I was there too. they are both from Lee Stafford. I am normally not attracted at all to the Lee Stafford range, the packaging is just very brassy looking, in your face and WAY too pink! I just think it looks tacky compared to brands such as James Brown and Aussie. I don’t know, maybe its just me. Well for some reason I ended up browsing the Lee Stafford shelf and saw these bad boys! the first is ‘Solution spray’ and it promises to de-fluff, de-frizz and de-flyaway hair! It just made me laugh because it says ‘I HATE MY HAIR THE DAY IT’S WASHED’ on the front of the bottle and that’s exactly how I feel when I wash my hair! I always feel it looks better once I have slept on it. The other is ‘Wonder spray’ which promises to  reduce the time it takes to blow dry hair! WOW! I had to buy it! My hair takes YONKS to blow dry, it seems to retain alot of water after I have washed it, I think this is because my hair is so ‘processed’, I’m not surprised really, it has been bleached and dyed SO many times! Anyway, I have high hopes for this product. I will let you know what I think once I have used them thoroughly. ;)

I absolutely love my star necklace that I am wearing! I bought if from work yesterday in the sale for £2! wow! Some may say that it is tacky, I think it is AMAZING! I love the stained glass effect, it remind me of the inside of a kaleidoscope.

Short and sweet #8…

Love my nails :’)

1.So first things first, how do you like my nails?! Pretty neat Huh? :) I did them whilst watching Iron Man yesterday. (You might have seen me post this picture on my twitter?) They took me SO long to do, but I am so proud now. I Basically trawled through the WAH NAILS archives yesterday, seeking some inspiration And I came across these bad boys! :) They seem to be one of the most popular nail designs at WAH NAILS, closely following the leopard print patterns! ;) I just had to give them a go! Like I said, I am REALLY pleased with the results. I totally want to work for them now! I could seriously paint nails all day! ;) I am seriously thinking of making a ‘what’s on my nails’ feature on here tbh. What do you think? :)

2.I re-ombred my hair again the other day. I posted this picture on twitter and had lots of lovely responses :) I do really like it but I am thinking of going back brown tbh. I just feel way too summery :S trip to Boots after work tomorrow me thinks :/ I don’t mind dying my hair myself but I just really don’t want to get into the habit of dying it constantly again. (I used to be obsessed lol I have actually had every colour hair you could possibly think of!) Should probs do a ‘my hair in pictures’ post sometime! ;)

3.I joined Chictopia a little while ago now, months ago infact, but I only started using it this week. :O I just never really took the time to get my head around how it works really but it’s actually really easy. I have been using Lookbook to post outfits but I dunno, some of the people on there seem a bit cold? Chictopia just seems way more friendly and down to earth, and you get way more feedback on your outfits! :) I am still planning on using Lookbook but I think I will be posting most of my outfits onto Chictopia from now on tbh!

4.Again, if you follow me on twitter you will know that me and the boy did some stargazing the other night and WOW! The sky is a beautiful thing! We even saw two shooting stars! Seriously, go and look at this website if you are as hooked to astronomy as I am! :)

So this isn’t an outfit post as such, I just wanted to show you, up close and personal my fave thing that I bought during my mini shopping spree after work today. I am obviously wearing what I wore today in the pictures, just with the jacket over the top ;) I finished work early so I decided that I would go for a little wander around the rest of the retail park before going home. I you follow me on Twitter you will already know that I have basically given River Island all of my money lolz.

I just LOVE the jacket! I saw it a little while ago and it was something like £60?! I was like, I don’t think sooo… 60 squids for a denim jacket?! No. So when I saw it on its own, with a £20 price tag, how could I say no this time? :) I nearly bought the Primark one I had seen doing the rounds a few months ago, but when I tried it on it was just blah, nothing special. Obviously, because I am obsessed, I LOVE the faux fur trim on this one, it finishes it off just nicely I think.

I’m not going to go into detail about the other things I bought because they will be popping up in outfit posts soon tbh so I will go into more detail then. If you read yesterdays post you will know that I have been watching ‘Stargazing live’ on BBC2. I didn’t realise that there was going to be more than one episode, so that has made my night really. :)

So basically this is what I wore yesterday for when the family came round and I ended up wearing it for work today too. The top was quite a pain to photograph really, because its quite sheer it just didn’t look right so it took me and age to shoot these photos tbh. Oh well, they ended up looking OK. I bought this top the other day because I liked the peter pan collar. I wasn’t sure about it at first but now I love it! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to buy into the peter pan collar trend lol. I like how it is quite simple with tiny bits of detail like the panels at the top and the zip at the back. (Not pictured obvs.) The only problem I have is, as you can probs tell from the pictures, it creases SO EASILY! Grrr! Oh well, it’s still a nice top and it wont stop me from wearing it! :)

The leggings I am wearing are seriously THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER OWNED! If you are looking for some leggings, go and check these out! They are just like normal stretchy leggings but they are LINED WITH FLEECE! They are Amazing! They are full length, not see through at all, really comfy and don’t go baggy! YAY! I am seriously impressed with them.

I’m not up to much tonight really, the boy is back at his for a few days so I am basically just spending the night reading blogs, watching TV and internet shopping. He texted me telling me about an astronomy programme that is on BBC2 at 8 so I will be watching that in a bit. :) I know I sound like a geek but I just LOVE watching stuff about space, stars, aliens, anything like that really. LOL! I’m basically on this website ALL the time! :)

Can anyone recommend any good, cheapish clothes websites? I’m in the mood to Shop the web. :)
