Scrabble MIA…

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now but with Xmas and retail taking over my life for the past few weeks I have been a little distant from the blogging world. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, I know I did. I can’t wait to catch up on reading my favourite blogs and I really really have missed posting on here, there just isn’t enough time in the day! I will get back into the swing of things soon I promise! My next post will most probably be the obvious Xmas haul :) but first I have a little post on a necklace that I bought from the lovely Victoria at VIPXO just before Christmas.
I have pondered buying a scrabble ring for a little while now but wasn’t entirely set on the idea as I have seen LOADS of people wearing them. Don’t get me wrong, I think they are lovely but I just wanted something a little different, so when I saw that she has started to make necklaces, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one! I absolutely LOVE it! I have worn it basically everyday since it arrived in the post. It arrived really quickly and was packaged lovely and she wrote a sweet little note to accompany it. Now I know I am not the first to ever buy scrabble jewellery from VIPXO and I surely wont be the last. I would DEFFO recommend buying scrabble necklace from Victoria’s blog! I think she is having a little sale at the moment for a week or so too so go and check it out!

Oh yeah… what do you  think of my kind of scrabble(ish) nails? lolz

Shoots…

So this is a repost. I posted it a few weeks ago, but I did it wrong :S I somehow swapped it for another one of my previous posts and so it didn’t publish properly, silly me. Anyways…I’ve been thinking about posting these pictures for a while now but I just haven't got round to doing it. I’ve not done much make-up work since the summer because I have been really busy with work and other things, which is really bad because its something I really love doing. I really need to start up doing some more shoots again in the new year. Just drop me an email if you are interested in working with me (probs sometime next year). You can view my Model Mayhem profile here. It really needs to be updated, I just haven’t got round to doing it, but I’m sure you get the general gist. :)

These are just from some test shoots I did with the lovely Chantelle Bowker. She is a brilliant photographer and is great at what she does. It was a pleasure to work with her. You really should go and check her stuff out. The  models were lovely also  Kristine and Rebecca.

My week in pictures…

1.The boy dressed up as an Xmas tree… believe it or not, that is actually the boy underneath all of that tinsel. What can I say? We are super childish when it comes to Christmas. I am actually feeling more in the Christmas spirit after dressing the Xmas tree. I don’t know what it is about fairy lights and tinsel on an Xmas tree, they just make everything look cosy and warm and Christmassy obvs.

2.This is Sid. He is a cat. He looks cute, but he’s pretty scary. I’m kidding he is really cute. The boys family are looking after him for 6 months whilst his owners are travelling, alright for some eigh? lol! He has the cutest eyes and he is officially the biggest cat I have ever met.

3.Jack just as he woke up. He decided he likes tinsel. It was so funny when he eventually got up and was just wandering around the house with tinsel draped all over him. He’s the weirdest dog ever. He is my baby and I wouldn’t have him any other way.

4.Rainbow drops. I haven’t eaten these for AGES! And I remember why, because they don’t last five minutes, once I start eating them, I just can’t stop, I’m surprised I managed to take a picture before they had all gone tbh!

5.I have been wearing my over knee boots all week and to be frank, they are doing my toe no favours. so I decided to buy some comfy flats for work. Obviously I couldn’t resist these leopard print lovelies, for £5, how could I resist? And as for the Grandad shoes, well, I felt I needed them in my life. Next challenge is to find some of those highly sought after Primark Leopard moccasins! I.NEED.THOSE.IN.MY.LIFE.FOR.DEFFO!

eyelash collection…

So after lots and lots of trying, I finally managed to upload my fake eyelash collection video to my YouTube channel. I don’t know why I have been having so many problems with the last two videos I have made. If you follow me on twitter you will know that I have been having MAJOR problems uploading this video! My OOTD video from Saturday was a complete disaster too! I still haven’t been able to upload it which is really annoying because I haven’t done an OOTD video for a little while now, I have just been doing ‘what I wore’ posts on the blog. Its not because I don’t enjoy making them, they are actually my favourite videos to make, I get the most feedback from them and they seem to be popular with my subscribers so, don’t worry, I will be making more OOTD videos asap along with others including one, maybe two make-up tutorials, I don’t know, I might try and post one before the end of December and one in the new year.

I have quite a few videos I have been meaning to film recently but I have either not had the time, because I am at work for what feels like most of my life at the moment, which is good for the bank balance but not so good on the YouTube video making front.  I would make videos when I get home from work but I usually get home quite late and the lighting is SO poor that it really isn’t worth it. This is why I have been keeping my focus on the blog because I can write a post no matter what the lighting is like. Don’t worry YouTube, I will be back properly once Xmas is over because hopefully I wont be working as late and I will be able to film better videos when there is better light in my house.

Right I have rambled and complained enough now, this is basically a video of my current fake eyelash collection, I say at the beginning that it is a quick video. I LIED, lolz I didn’t realise how much I was actually going to talk but hey. Like I say in the video I will be doing an updated one, probably soon, as I have my eyes on a few new styles. Obsessed much? What are your favourite fake eyelashes? Any recommendations? :)

A pretty short post today really, I am writing this as I am getting ready and trying to edit the video. I’m not sure if I am going to post the video or not yet but I will link it to this post if I do. Hope you like. I know I like it better than the playsuit I was contemplating buying. I am hoping to feel a little more in the Xmas spirit after tonight is over so, farewell for now. I will write more in my ‘Short and sweet’ post tomorrow.
