OMG finally…

Today I wandered in to Primark in town not expecting much as usual and to be honest I wasn’t impressed. I mush have walked around aimlessly for at least 20 minutes then I stumbled across these BEAUTIES! WOW! I am impressed! I actually bought something from Primark for the first time in at least six months! There is never anything decent in the Primark where I live, its really small and usually has nothing much worth looking at.

Anyway, they were the last ones in the shop and in my size…I took that to be a sign that I really should buy them.

primark edited They were only £12! What a bargain. I will be wearing these through the A/W with most probably everything that suits. I really am super impressed.primark brogues

I really need to venture out to a bigger Primark asap to pick up some more great finds!

Pumpkin nails…

So I was sat watching come dine with me, as you do, painting my nails nude, again, and I decided I didn’t want ‘just nude’ nails. So I opted to combine the nude trend with Halloween! I actually get way too excited when it comes to Halloween! I decided to keep my nails mostly nude (H&M nail polish in ‘latte 2 go’) so it wasn’t quite Halloween overkill, with a splash or orange (Rimmel London lasting finish nail varnish in ‘Tangerine Queen’) and the amazing Barry M instant nail effects layered over the top of the orange for a Halloweenie feel!

VoilĂ ! Pumpkin nails!

Actually can’t wait to carve pumpkins now! I’ sure I will post you Dollies pictures of those too!

OOTD and Rimmel lasting finish lipstick…

barry m and rimmel

So although I had work today, I wasn’t really in a ‘dress to impress’ kind of mood. So I opted for a kind of what ended up looking like a preppy kind of school look? I don’t know, But it was comfortable and kept me warm on this chilly day anyway.

Everything I’m wearing if from New Look.
(Except my Pandora bracelet obvs.)

I was really more interested in my make-up today because I took a trip to the Trafford Centre yesterday with the BF and picked up a couple of things from Superdrug, including a couple of the new lasting finish lipsticks from Rimmel. I chose ‘Nude Pink’ and ‘Pink Blush’. And OMG! I really like this stuff! From what I remember I have never purchased any Rimmel lip products before. WHY?! I ask myself. I don’t know, I’m sure I have looked at them before, but never seen anything I wanted to buy. But now I have officially found a new FAVOURITE! YES! I wore ‘Pink blush’ today and I loved it! It stayed on for HOURS AND HOURS! It reminds me of Barry M’s lip paint in ‘sheer pink’ 113. and MAC viva glam GAGA (which I still must buy!) Rimmel what a great product you have created. Thank you.

I’m not really wearing much else exciting on my face today, just my normal foundation and powder with a sweep of MAC mineralize skin finish in ‘By Candle Light’ and MAC ‘Pink Swoon’ blush on my cheeks and my usual Max factor FLE Mascara.

Neutral nail varnish…

So… neutral nails are still HUGE this season and I have to say that they are my favourite tones of nail varnish to wear, which is probably why I have SO many different variations of colours. When Chanel first brought out 505 I wanted to try it so badly (and still do) but it went out of stock so quickly! Since I was desperate to try the ‘Mud’ trend I went on a search for the perfect neutral nail. And just look at the gems I found.

Good old Barry M in ‘Grey’ and ‘Mushroom’ I wear Mushroom ALOT! I think its great and I hear that it is one of the closest dupes for the Chanel 505! A complete bargain at £2.95 each!

Barry M
Another favourite of mine is ‘Nude Beige’ by Models Own. I love this colour! It has slightly more violet tone to it than any of the other colours I own and I love it! Probably the second most worn Neutral nail varnish in my collection.

Models Own This nail varnish was all over the catwalks and in SO many magazines that I couldn't resist trying it out for myself. I really like the colour but I don't really like the consistency of the product, Its pretty gloopy, takes AGES to dry and smudges pretty easily, but if I have enough time to apply this polish I do but its not the most reached for in my collection just because its pretty hard work to use.

Revlon

‘Camel’ is the only nail varnish that I own from China Glaze and I was so impressed with how fast it dries! more of a golden colour than the rest of the neutrals but still a really pretty colour! I need to purchase more China Glaze!

China Glaze

My most recent ‘Mud’ purchases were from GOSH and I have been wearing ‘Miss Sweety’ LOADS since buying it! a lovely peach nude colour. I also LOVE ‘Miss Mole’ too! such amazing colours I cant believe i have never bought GOSH nail products before but I will defiantly be buying more in the future!

I now have so many to choose from that I cant seem to justify paying £16 for the Chanel 505 at the moment but I still desperately want to try it because as you have probably noticed I am pretty obsessed with all of these neutral colours!

Sleek eye dusts…

So as most of you will know from my YouTube channel, I took a trip to Superdrug this week and picked up a couple of sleek eye dusts.
Initially I bought ‘Drama’ (matte black) and ‘Hypnotic’ (shimmer blue) but I went back and bought a few more: ‘Fantasy’ (shimmer purple) ‘Eden’ (shimmer green) and ‘Inferno’ (shimmer orange/red)

I am SUPER impressed with the pigmentation of the eye dusts and will certainly be going beck for even more in the not too distant future! These defiantly rival Barry M Dazzle Dusts!
